Line Maintenance Controller 100%

Base: Zurich Airport
Starting date: ASAP - Upon mutual agreement

Line Maintenance Controller continuous monitoring of the Helvetic Airways fleet and the interaction with internal/external stake holders, maximize operational availability whilst minimizing operation disruption by the efficient management and support of the following specific responsibilities and activities.

Duties

  • To assist Helvetic Airways Line Maintenance Staff/ Department with respect in providing support to the Helvetic Fleet, liaise with the airline OCC department and act as AOG and unscheduled maintenance coordinator
  • In conjunction with the Maintenance Planning and Engineering Department, to plan all line maintenance activities incorporating schedule and unscheduled tasks and requirements
  • The control and auditing of completed technical documentation, to include Aircraft Technical Logs and AMOS generated work Orders
  • Creation and management of all defect related AMOS work packages
  • To cooperate and share information with other company departments with respect to the update of the maintenance plan as a result of any changes to the day to day operation
  • To ensure compliance with all unscheduled maintenance requirements, including daily and weekly inspections. This includes the monitoring of all aircraft condition data and the completion and distribution of the fleet daily status report
  • To monitor and manage all defects (open and deferred) across the fleet to ensure that rectification is carried out within the allowed time limits and to ensure best effort are made to meet Company Maintenance performance standards and KPIs
  • To track and analyse repetitive and recurring defects across the fleet, and to liaise with the flight crews and maintenance staff with respect to their troubleshooting and rectification
  • To liaise with third party maintenance suppliers as contracted by the airline with respect to the maintenance, technical support and reporting back of deays, AOGs etc.
  • To manage all AOG scenarios including spare requests, assignment of manpower and/ or third party services, management of travel and hotel requirements and reporting
  • To liaise with flight crew at unsupported out stations with respect to defects entered into the Aircraft Technical Log, and the use and control of facility "ref base" as a means of temporary deferral

 Candidates must have

  • Ideally hold EASA Part 66 license and have at least 5 years line maintenance experience. High degree of motivation and forward thinking
  • Ability to supervise others and to manage technical eventsand AOG scenarios under pressure
  • Good communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
  • Good knowledge of AMOS and EASA Part-M is a plus
  • Area of residence preferably in wider Zurich area
  • Fluent written and spoken English, German is desirable
  • Maintenance experience with E190

Additional Information

  • LMC Department provide its 7 days per week between 05:30 to 23:30 (early/ late shift)

The Stores Coordinator is a position within the Helvetic Airways Part 145 Line maintenance stores department team, responsible for the 24/7 management, control and storage of material and component leased or owned by Helvetic Airways AG.

The Stores Coordinator reports directly to the Head of Stores and is required to perform shift work that includes night work and weekends. 

Duties
  • To perform tasks as directed by the Head of Stores
  • To support the Head of Stores with the management of company material and control all materials, tooling and facilities in accordance with company compliance, FOCA & EASA Part 145 regulations and requirements
  • To manage and update the company maintenance management software system AMOS as required
  • To manage and control departement invoices, purchase orders and warranty claims
  • To manage and control all parts, materials and tooling subject to calibration, life limits and environmental conditions
  • Responsible for the control and management of the line station stores including the quarantine stores
Candidates must have
  • Secondary school education and higher
  • Self-initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office)
  • Language proficiency in German and English
  • A high sense of responsibility
  • Reliable with a systematic way of working
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Hold a valid vehicle driving license, Cat B
  • Be able to obtain Zurich Airport Security pass (clean criminal record)
  • Physically fit
  • Able to work shifts, including nights and weekends
  • A background on logistics and aviation is beneficial for this position

Candidates must have

  • age at least 30, maximum 60 years
  • have a minimum of 5 years experience in a EASA management position

The Deputy Maintenance Manager is responsible for the control and management of all line maintenance services are performed in accordance with the Helvetic Airways` MOE and its procedures, Engineering and Quality related instructions, manufacturer`s instruction and aviation regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To  manage the maintenance staff to ensure that all unscheduled and scheduled maintenance tasks are carried out in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable maintenance standards and process
  • To review the work scope on daily basis with CAMO planning department and deliver adequate staff availability
  • To instruct line maintenance staff to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft and dispatch reliability
  • To support and liaise with the training department to assure the adequate training of maintenance staff
  • To enforce health and safety guidelines when necessary
  • To work in conjunction with Compliance Monitoring Manager in order to uphold all necessary requirements
  • To be responsible that all tasks are performed in accordance with Helvetic Airways` MOE and  procedures, Engineering- and Quality related instructions, manufacturer`s instructions and aviation regulations
  • To support and assist the Maintenance Manager in projects and continuous improvement of the maintenance department and deputize during absences

Candidates must have

  • Already worked in a similar position
  • Form 4 Holder by the regulatory authority is an advantage
  • Technical Knowledge in Aviation, preferable B1 (or higher) License Holder
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Self – initiative with the ability to work unsupervised
  • A high sense of responsibility and with the ability to work under pressure
  • Reliable and systematic work ethic
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office)
