The Aircraft Cabin Mechanic performs maintenance under supervision on Fokker 100 and Embraer 190, up to and including A checks. He ensures that all his work is performed in accordance with approved documentation. He/she will be working in a highly dynamic environment, which offers a lot of opportunities to excel in a team of motivated specialists.

Duties
  • Inspection and/or repair of passenger, pilot/copilot and flight attendant seats
  • Inspection and/or repair of lavatories and galleys
  • Inspection and/or repair of overhead bins
  • Removal/installation and trimming of carpets
  • Repair or replacement of sidewalls and ceiling panels
  • Removal/installation of floor boards
  • Removal/installation of seat covers
  • General repairs in the cabin
  • Assist and support the engineers in with general maintenance work
Candidates must have
  • Work experience in line maintenance in a similar role
  • Willingness to work night shift pattern 5x5 (20:00-07:00) which includes weekends
  • Swiss or EU citizen with valid work permit
  • Clean criminal record
  • Good knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken)
  • Full driving license
  • Computer literate
  • High sense of responsibility

Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness 100%

The Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness supports the head of the Continuous Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and is responsible for the definition and maintaining of the system of maintaining or regaining the airworthiness of all helvetic aircraft. He reports to the Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness and in his absence the deputy will perform all duties as described below.

Duties

  • supervision and control of all maintenance
  • maintaining compliance with conditions and restrictions of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and the applicable regulatory requirements
  • maintaining compliance with the Helvetic Airways standards and procedures
  • liaison with regulatory authorities, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and other operationally relevant external entities
  • proper dispatch of each aeroplane, with regard to: control of defects / availability of spare parts / conformity with the type design / requirements of other applicable operating rules
  • assuring that the certificate of airworthiness for each aeroplane operated by the company remains valid in respect of: the airwothiness of the aeroplane / the expiry date specified on the airworthiness review certificate / any other condition specified in the certificate
  • keeping the relationship with Helvetic Aircraft Maintenance and other part 145 maintenance contractor(s)
  • establishment and development of helvetic airways maintenance and reliability programmes
  • continuous monitoring and acceptance of subcontracted organisation procedures and their amendment

Candidates must have

  • engineering or technical degree (bachelor or master)
  • aircraft maintenance and engineering experience in a comparable organisation of at least 3 years
  • comprehensive knowledge of EASA Part M and 145
  • structured and clear way of thinking, documenting and acting
  • communicate in a straight forward and transparent way, team-oriented
  • be reliable and have an exact working method
  • an intellectual potential corresponding to advanced levels
  • be self-initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
  • proficient computer skills (MS Office), AMOS knowledge is beneficial
  • be fluent written and spoken in English, German is an asset
  • a high sense of responsibility

Line Maintenance Controller continuous monitoring of the Helvetic Airways fleet and the interaction with internal/external stake holders, maximize operational availability whilst minimizing operation disruption by the efficient management and support of the following specific responsibilities and activities.

Duties

  • To assist Helvetic Airways Line Maintenance Staff/ Department with respect in providing support to the Helvetic Fleet, liaise with the airline OCC department and act as AOG and unscheduled maintenance coordinator
  • In conjunction with the Maintenance Planning and Engineering Department, to plan all line maintenance activities incorporating schedule and unscheduled tasks and requirements
  • The control and auditing of completed technical documentation, to include Aircraft Technical Logs and AMOS generated work Orders
  • Creation and management of all defect related AMOS work packages
  • To cooperate and share information with other company departments with respect to the update of the maintenance plan as a result of any changes to the day to day operation
  • To ensure compliance with all unscheduled maintenance requirements, including daily and weekly inspections. This includes the monitoring of all aircraft condition data and the completion and distribution of the fleet daily status report
  • To monitor and manage all defects (open and deferred) across the fleet to ensure that rectification is carried out within the allowed time limits and to ensure best effort are made to meet Company Maintenance performance standards and KPIs
  • To track and analyse repetitive and recurring defects across the fleet, and to liaise with the flight crews and maintenance staff with respect to their troubleshooting and rectification
  • To liaise with third party maintenance suppliers as contracted by the airline with respect to the maintenance, technical support and reporting back of deays, AOGs etc.
  • To manage all AOG scenarios including spare requests, assignment of manpower and/ or third party services, management of travel and hotel requirements and reporting
  • To liaise with flight crew at unsupported out stations with respect to defects entered into the Aircraft Technical Log, and the use and control of facility "ref base" as a means of temporary deferral

 Candidates must have

  • Ideally hold EASA Part 66 license and have at least 5 years line maintenance experience. High degree of motivation and forward thinking
  • Ability to supervise others and to manage technical eventsand AOG scenarios under pressure
  • Good communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
  • Good knowledge of AMOS and EASA Part-M is a plus
  • Area of residence preferably in wider Zurich area
  • Fluent written and spoken English, German is desirable
  • Maintenance experience with E190

Additional Information

  • LMC Department provide its 7 days per week between 05:30 to 23:30 (early/ late shift)

Helvetic Airways bietet jungen Ab-initio-Piloten eine besondere, einzigartige Chance.
Bereits während der Pilotenausbildung erhalten sie besondere Unterstützung.
