Maintenance

Safety is a first priority for Helvetic Airways. Since 2011, we can count on the comprehensive abilities of our own maintenance unit for regular maintenance work.

Since 27 November 2011, all Helvetic Airways aircraft maintenance is carried out in our own hangar at Zurich Airport. The Helvetic Airways maintenance unit is certified by the Federal Office for Civil Aviation of Switzerland (FOCA) and EASA-145. In Berne, line maintenance work and defect rectifications are performed. Running our own maintenance unit permits full internal control and enhanced flexibility. Setting up our new maintenance operations also meant expanding our staff capacities.
In the medium term, Helvetic Airways will also train its own aircraft mechanics and engineers.
